As in previous years, the OeAD offers a wide range of different grants and scholarships for 2025/2026. The Ernst Mach Grant – worldwide is aimed at PhD students, Postgraduates, Postdocs and young lecturers from foreign universities, irrespective of their field of study. The Ernst Mach Grant for studying at an Austrian university of applied sciences enables non-European Undergraduates and Graduates to complete a study visit at one of the many universities of applied sciences located in Austria. Persons with a research interest in Austrian literature are eligible for the Franz Werfel Fellowship; young university lecturers with a focus on Austrian history may apply for the Richard Plaschka Fellowhip. Finally, applications for the Ernst Mach Grants – ASEA-UNINET are open to Graduates in the field of music, Postgraduates, and Postdocs coming from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam.
