On 1 and 2 October 2018, the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research hosted the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Conference in the Billrothhaus. This conference was organised jointly with the European Commission (EC) as part of the Austrian EU Presidency and offered the opportunity to discuss current developments in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe with regard to human potential and career development.
For the first time, MSCA-funded researchers were invited to present their own research activities in digital form - via video or selfie. The three best contributions in the three categories - 1. outreach often he MSCA Project, 2. meeting societal challenges and 3. bridging (career) path - were pre-selected by a selection committee from a total of 106 submissions and shown during the conference.
The audience of the MSCA Conference selected one winner per category:
Gwendolyn Bailey, KU Leuven, Belgium
Deepak Palaksha, University of Science and Technology Trondheim, Norway
Francisco Valente Gonçalves, Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention, ISCTE-Lisbon University Institute, Portugal
Congratulations!
