Virtual Walking Tour: Vienna - A Musical Journey

The events4scholars team together with the EURAXESS Meeting point Vienna invite present, former and future scholarship holders and international researchers with their partners and/or families to the a virtual walking tour: Vienna - A Musical Journey.

When?

Thursday, 17th February 2022, 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Strauß, Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and many other prominent composers were connected to Vienna and contributed to its reputation as one of the world´s capitals of (classical) music. How and where did they live, what inspired them and why was old Vienna so irresistible for them? Join us on a journey of discovery in the footsteps of music and composers with little audio examples on our way.

During the walk all participants will get the chance to ask questions in the chat via Zoom. And after the tour you may take part in an online quiz and possibly win a prize.
