About
The labour market is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by technological advances, automation and adapting skills requirements. The climate crisis and other challenges require sustainable solutions to shape a future-proof world of work. Career guidance plays a crucial role in preparing individuals for these changes and in helping them build sustainable and fulfilling careers.
What skills will be needed in the future to successfully participate in the world of work? How can career guidance professionals support people to continuously acquire skills? Which approaches are suited to reach people, especially those who are disadvantaged, and build up resilience to successfully navigate a constantly changing labour market?
Jos Akkermans, Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Organisation at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, will introduce the topic with his key note "Sustainable careers and career shocks". The keynote will be followed by an interactive exchange on the topic of "Future forms of work ".
In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to participate in one of five parallel workshops. These interactive sessions deal with best practice examples and methods for career guidance. An Erasmus+ Corner and a Methods Market offer the opportunity to get to know Erasmus+ projects and develop project ideas.
The event is part of the European Year of Skills, which aims to give new impetus to lifelong learning, support innovation and competitiveness and value all skills and knowledge.
Take part in the Euroguidance conference, be inspired and exchange ideas with colleagues from Austria and Europe!
