As part of the European Year of Youth, DG EAC has launched a unique voice recording platform where young Europeans can record their personal and unique messages on key issues/policy areas of the EYY. After the pandemic and with the ongoing war in Ukraine, it is more important than ever to give young people space to express themselves and to share their ideas, to listen to their concerns and take appropriate action.
The platform can be used in all EU official languages (plus Norwegian, Turkish, Serbian, North Macedonian and Icelandic). Once added, each voice generates its own, unique 3D waveform interacting with every other recording on the platform – and enables everyone to listen to any voice, in any language, on any device at any moment.
Why is it important for researchers?
This is the perfect moment to make one’s voice heard on topics relevant for the researchers’ community, e.g. on jobs and employment, on inclusion, on green and the digital transformation. And in the light of the ongoing war, on democratic values, peace and security.
The recorded voices will be taken up and transmitted to the policy level for uptake.
