On October 18, 2019, eleven families with a total of 15 children joined EURAXESS Meeting Point Vienna for a guided tour at Technisches Museum Wien. The bilingual tour (English and German) on “Everything that has wings, flies” took us around the 4th floor of the museum and showcased the development of manned flight, from dreaming to hot-air ballooning sheep and other animals to airships and planes. The children also got the chance to build a flight apparatus of their own and test it by letting it go from the balcony, all the way down to the floor of the exhibition hall.
After the tour, some families paired up for our riddle rallye, while others joined us at Joules Bistro or took a look at the other exhibitions.
