Austrian Proteomics and Metabolomics Association (APMA)

The APMRS, the annual meeting of the Austrian Proteomics and Metabolomics Association (APMA), will be held from 18 to 20 September 2019 at the University of Salzburg.

The symposium will provide practitioners of proteome and metabolome analysis with information about the newest experimental and computational concepts and tools. Moreover, there will be ample time for discussions between participants and exchange of ideas for novel and future developments, offering a unique opportunity for the young generation of proteomics researchers to interact with established scientists in the field.

Scientific sessions will cover the the following topics and will be opened by international keynote speakers:

• bottom-up and top-down proteomics

• glycoproteomics

• metabolomics

• bioinformatics

• characterization of biotherapeutics

In addition to oral presentations, poster sessions will allow face-to-face discussions of ongoing reserach projects. Best oral presentation & best poster awards will be presented at the end of the symposium.

The program is completed by workshops on the following topics:

• Practical aspects of HPLC separations in omics approaches

• (Bio)statistical methods for analyzing proteomics and metabolomics datasets

• Industrial aspects of biopharma characterization
